Salary Structure Building

As a follow-on to a Competitive Pay Assessment engagement, our compensation experts will use our CompAnalyst® platform and market compensation data to model competitive salary structures, compose salary ranges, and audit job levels to assign to appropriate ranges. In addition, our team will analyze salary range placement for job incumbents and if necessary, estimate the cost to adjust employee pay.

Consulting Services

As a follow-up to a Competitive Pay Assessment, we can help you build salary structures from the ground up. This includes modeling competitive salary structures, composing salary ranges, and auditing job levels to assign appropriate ranges.

Identify salary compression and pay gaps

We’ll perform a diagnostic review of your current salary ranges and job hierarchy. If salary compression or pay gaps exist, we’ll develop solutions to address them.

Know your options

We’ll design and model salary structures so you can understand your options. Salary.com’s CompAnalyst® lets us quickly expand and contract ranges, move jobs between ranges, and build and save new structures to develop modeling and implementation scenarios.

Stay within budget

If needed, we will determine how much it would cost to bring employee salaries to the grade minimum or market rate. We’ll forecast any costs associated with changing salary structures or adjusting individual employee pay.

Diversified and experienced team

Our individual consultants have decades of experience in a variety of industries. We have the knowledge and skills to help you in your specific organization, industry, and circumstances.

An extra set of hands

Comprehensive analysis is a big undertaking that all too often gets pushed to the bottom of the to-do list. This is a mistake, and everyone knows it, but sometimes your internal team just can’t get the time. Our consultants provide the extra resources and expertise to implement your compensation initiatives.

High-touch communication

Clear communication is a cornerstone of our process, and we’ll be with you every step of the way. Our team of consultants are available to provide guidance and support.

Third party neutrality

Bringing in outside help demonstrates your commitment to fairness, transparency, and impartiality. It also guarantees a level of discretion not always possible within an organization.
